Do you know the Padovan Method® of neurofunctional reorganisation? This method is now available at Action Sport Physio Repentigny.

The Padovan Method® of neurofunctional reorganisation (NFR) is a comprehensive approach to sensorineural development that was developed in Brazil in the 70s by teacher and speech therapist Beatriz Padovan, after 20 years of research and testing. It takes into account the individual as a whole by reviewing the steps of neuropsychomotor development and human evolution.

This method is particularly suitable for problems with a neurological component and can be applied to all ages with different goals:

• prevention
• recovery of functions that were lost in an accident
• acquisition of functions that were never acquired due to a developmental delay

Action Sport Physio on TVA Sports

During the hockey season, physiotherapist and huge hockey fan Maxime Besner (from the Vaudreuil-Dorion and Valleyfield clinics) will discuss a player’s injury on Le Premier Trio show, sometime between 6 pm and 7 pm during the week.

Montreal Marathon and Conferences on Running

Once again, this year, we will take part in the Oasis Rock 'n' Roll Montreal Marathon and Half-Marathon and greet the runners at the finish line. We will provide treatments and massages to the participants in our tent.

On the days preceding the event, we will be at the Marathon Expo on September 26th and 27th at Place Bonaventure. At our booth:

• Physiotherapists and running specialists Éric Boucher and Rémi Bergeron will give free conferences on running injury prevention at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26th and at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27th.
• We will also offer free taping, injury screening and answer your questions.

Marathon Expo opening hours:

Friday: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
